Welcome to our Candy Kitchen! We are Marv and Anita, and for many years, we’ve been cooking up the family buttercrunch toffee and other sweet treats. Our family tradition is to give handmade candies as a special connection with those we care about. It’s such an amazing feeling to see happy faces of delight as gifts are opened and our delicious treats disappear. We wanted to share this amazing connection, this powerful feeling, so we started Sunset Bay Candy. Using our family recipes, the best ingredients and the same love and attention, we handmake our treats for you. Our intention is that you can show that you care and strengthen your connections with the same homestyle candies and treats. In starting Sunset Bay Candy, first on our Candy Menu was our iconic Newport Almond Toffee. We use sweet cream butter, oven roast the almonds and top the sweet almond deliciousness with fair traded, ethically sourced Belgium chocolate. We love to experiment and have fun in the kitchen and our Peanut Toffee and Habanero Toffee creations became so popular with our friends, they were next to be added to the menu. As we grew, so did our menu. White Chocolate Lemon Bark, Strawberry Pretzel Bark and two flavors of nuts were added to our signature candy menu. You can find all of these mouthwatering treats on our website and order them separate or in gift assortments. But we didn’t stop there! Our Handmade to Order line of sweet treats includes chocolate-dipped Oreos and other cookies, chocolate-dipped pretzels and even red vines dipped in chocolate! Can you tell we love chocolate? And, if you haven’t tried our candy cakes, you don’t know what you’re missing. We offer three flavors, Triple Chocolate, French Vanilla and Lemonade. All of the treats on the Made To Order menu are perfect for gifts, events and meetings. Contact us for a brochure. As a small, family owned company, the quality, safety and customer service we provide is a reflection of our personal values. We are steadfastly committed to offer our customers the personal attention to enable them to confidently give a gift that will be perfect in taste and presentation. It all starts with using the best ingredients. Grade A sweet cream butter, cane sugar, USA grown nuts. Our chocolate is the finest quality coverture and most important is that we use only chocolate that is ethically sourced, fair traded and from sustainably managed farms. Just as in years past, all of our candies and sweet treats are handmade and in small batches. The toffees and barks are broken up by hand. And since they are not manufactured, you’ll see a variety in shapes, sizes, thicknesses. If you’re looking for perfectly cut to size toffees or barks, we’re not for you. Our commercial kitchen is licensed and registered with San Diego County and with the State of California. We use all precautions and go beyond requirements and guidelines in candy-making and packaging to keep your order safe and maintain the absolute best quality. |

It created beautiful connections with each other and with nature. Authentic connections and relationships are so important in everything we do.
